Social media and cybersecurity expert Mary Frantz has some startling statistics about the networking platforms and how they're used nefariously.
She says 28 percent of online personas are fake and that false accounts and personas drive up to 65 percent of all posts on social media sites.
While the goal of people, groups and even nation-states that misuse technology isn’t always to modify behavior, she points out at times there objective is to steal data and other information of value.
