Community Involvement

This is how we give back

  1. SDN employees give back to area youth through Junior Achievement
    Each year, a dozen employees from SDN Communications share their time and talents with students in the Sioux Falls School District through the Junior Achievement program.
  2. SDN Communications helps teachers bring innovation to the classroom
    To help teachers in the Sioux Falls School District, SDN Communications donates annually to the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation’s Public School Proud Grant program.
  3. SDN provides a vehicle to the world of STEM
    SDN Communications has donated time, money and resources to South Dakota STARBASE for several years. The program teaches STEM to underserved students.
  4. Scouting legacy at SDN lives on: Eagle project adds viewfinder at Sioux Falls overlook
    SDN Communications was one of the sponsors of an Eagle Scout project at Great Bear Recreation Park in memory of former CEO Mark Shlanta.
  5. Artist encourages connecting with SculptureWalk exhibits by looking within
    SculptureWalk Sioux Falls not only draws art lovers and people alike from across the country, it is the largest annual exhibit of public sculptures in the world and is even bigger this year. The 2022 collection, which is the 19th annual display, has the most pieces in the event’s history at 69 sculptures. You can find a large number of them along Phillips Avenue in Downtown Sioux Falls, but also as far away as the Cathedral District and 8th & Railroad.
