What happened with the Broadband Stimulus Award SDN received?
SDN completed the project in November 2012. SDN's fiber now reaches an additional 300 anchor institutions throughout the state of South Dakota.
SERVICES
Does SDN offer residential services?
SDN provides internet services for businesses, but not for residential customers or residential businesses. Our high-bandwidth, high-speed capabilities provide the capacity required by business customers to transport large amounts of data.

I see that SDN sells and services routers? Can they help me set up equipment in my home?
SDN only provides managed routers and network assistance for business customers. Companies such as Best Buy offer additional consumer support.
Will I need to sign a contract for services?
Most of our internet and transport service customers sign three- to five-year contracts. This also helps them to lock in costs for a set amount of time.

What should I do if there is a problem with my network?
If you are having a problem with your network connectivity, circuit, or managed equipment, call 877-287-8023. Your call will be answered 24x7x365. (Please have Circuit IDs ready. These numbers are located on your invoice.)
Do I have to report scheduled maintenance on my system to SDN?
While it is not required in most cases, reporting upcoming maintenance on any equipment can help our Network Operations Center avoid alarms and unnecessary alerts. As SDN becomes aware of any upcoming maintenance that it initiates, staff will send out customer notifications via email.

Can I view or pay my bill online?
At this time, SDN does not offer the option to view or pay bills online. If you need assistance on your account, please contact us at 800-247-1442.
What bill payment options are available to my business?
SDN customers can pay via check or electronic funds transfer (EFT).
