The SDN Communications Board of Managers elected its leadership and added a new member at its recent annual meeting. The nine members on the Board of Managers oversee SDN Communications, which is owned by 17 rural broadband companies serving more than 90% of South Dakota’s geography.

Powerful winds swept through Highmore, South Dakota leaving widespread property damage and power outages in their wake. Within minutes of the storm hitting, Venture Communications stepped up to the challenge of maintaining network availability.

For SDN Communications, Minnesota is more than just a friendly neighbor to the east. The Land of a Thousand Lakes holds many longtime customers and a solid reminder that SDN’s reach extends beyond state lines.
