Chris Aeilts

Chris Aeilts has been in the industry for more than 10 years. His time in telecommunications began as a technical trainer for a cellular network equipment manufacturer, training on design, installation and configuration.

Finding a home on the sales team at SDN in the fall of 2015, Aeilts moved from the Twin Cities with his wife and two kids. Chris has served as an Account Executive, Sales Engineer and now as the Commercial Sales Manager.

As a highly technically minded person, Chris has enjoyed the challenge of designing solutions for SDN customers that meet their needs. "Designing solutions that integrate into a customer's unique operations and unique geographic layout has been rewarding," says Aeilts. Just as energizing is the challenge of communicating complex solutions to SDN customers, and he brings that passion to the whole Commercial Team in his managerial role.

Moving to South Dakota was a move back to their birth state for Chris and his wife. Chris grew up in Aberdeen and was a Central High School Golden Eagle. His wife grew up on a farm near Hartford and was a West Central Trojan.

Outside of work, you'll find Chris volunteering with his daughter's high school's marching band or show choir. He also enjoys volunteering at his local church by leading a Sunday morning guest services team or a bible study during the week as well as marriage mentoring soon-to-be newlyweds with his wife. Or maybe you'll find him riding dirt bikes with his son out at the farm.
