SDN Communications, an all-fiber-optic connectivity and internet service provider for enterprise businesses across South Dakota and the 10-state region, has promoted Senior Account Executive Greg Robinson to West River – Business Development Manager.
Robinson, based out of SDN Communications’ Rapid City office, has worked for the company since 2018. In his new role, Robinson will identify, assess and execute business development opportunities in the West River market, including SDN fiber expansion.
“Greg Robinson’s promotion to West River – Business Development Manager is an important step for our organization,” SDN Communications Vice President of Sales and Marketing Ryan Dutton said. “He has been vital to SDN’s growth in Rapid City and the surrounding area over the past several years. Greg has a unique blend of sales, network and community knowledge that makes him extremely effective at this job. On top of Greg being an outstanding account executive, he is an even better person. Greg builds relationships, and we’re very fortunate to have him at SDN Communications.”
Robinson’s market area includes western South Dakota and the city of Pierre.
Robinson was born and raised in eastern Montana. He met his wife, Sue, in Bismarck, North Dakota. They have been married and have lived in Rapid City for more than 30 years and have two children who are both in their twenties.
“I’m really excited about this opportunity to get to know the West River region better,” Robinson said. “Over the years at SDN, I’ve seen how our fiber network can truly make a difference for businesses and communities. I’m looking forward to meeting more people, understanding their needs, and working together to expand SDN’s presence here. It’s an exciting time for growth, and I can’t wait to help bring our reliable, high-speed services to more organizations across SDN's network in western South Dakota"
